"The immensely popular ABC science fiction series Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (1964-68) constituted a spinoff of the 1961 Irwin Allen movie of the same name. Like its parent film, it chronicled the adventures of the various men piloting The Seaview, a glass-nosed atomic submarine that spent its days and nights prowling the lower depths of the world's seas, and fighting off various human and alien villains. Season Four of the program (1967-8) contained 26 episodes, the second half of which appear in this collection. This final stretch of the men's adventures contains such memorable events as a visit with Blackbeard the Pirate, a tangle with an evil leprechaun, and the re-emergence of a time traveler from earlier in the series."
