Gentlemen Prefer Blondes [Blu-ray]

Howard Hawks' Gentlemen Prefer Blondes is a light-hearted comedy about two showgirls (Marilyn Monroe, Jane Russell) from Little Rock who travel to Paris in a search for fortune and wealthy, good-looking bachelors. Once they arrive in France, they become embroiled in a series of misadventures, which eventually get Monroe into trouble with the law. Though the plot is rather thin, the film is filled with fine comedic sequences and great music, including the infamous Jule Styne/Leo Robin song, "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend."
