Set during the mid-1800s, this Alaskan adventure chronicles the exploits of the captain of an illicit seal-hunting ship who docks in San Francisco. He gets entangled with a beautiful Russian woman who convinces him to smuggle her up to Sitka, Alaska where her uncle works as governor.
