The top dog in young Francis Capra's Bronx neighborhood is flashy "wiseguy" Chazz Palminteri. Palminteri befriends Capra, introducing the impressionable youngster to mob life. But though Capra idolizes Palminteri, he respects his honest father. It takes a tragedy for the 17-year-old boy to decide upon his true course in life.
