"The surfing movie Blue Crush comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. English, Spanish, and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. There are no subtitles, but the English soundtrack is closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by director John Stockwell, a second commentary track recorded by the three lead actresses (Kate Bosworth, Michelle Rodriguez, and Sanoe Lake), a making-of documentary, deleted scenes, a music video from Lenny Kravitz, a featurette on surfing, footage of spectacular surfing wipeouts, and biographies of the cast and crew. Those with a DVD-ROM drive can access additional extras. This is an excellent release from Universal."
