Shaul Schwarz's documentary Narco Cultura examines how the boom in Mexican drug trafficking affects people on both sides of the border. In addition to showcasing how some people need the jobs the powerful and lethal cartels offer - as well as the thrill of the job itself -- the filmmakers spend time with officials trying to shut down the illegal operations.
