Same Time, Next Year

"Robert Mulligan directs Alan Alda and Ellen Burstyn in the big-screen adaptation of the romantic comedy Same Time, Next Year. The film makes its debut on DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. While not exactly breathtaking, the image will be a welcome surprise for those who have only experiences the film on television. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Mono. Spanish and French subtitles are accessible. There are no supplemental materials of any consequence, but this is a fine release of an enjoyable film offered at a reasonable price."
