Lost in Translation [P&S]

"Sofia Coppola's award-winning comedy drama about two Americans who find themselves emotionally and culturally stranded in downtown Tokyo has been given a solid presentation for its release on DVD. This edition of Lost in Translation has been given a pan-and-scanned transfer to disc in the full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1. (A letterboxed widescreen version is also available.) The film's original English soundtrack is presented in two formats, Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1, while a dubbed French track appears in Dolby Digital 5.1. Optional subtitles in Spanish and French are also included, as well as closed captioning in English. Among the disc's bonus materials are several extended and deleted sequences, a documentary on the making of the film called ""Lost on Location,"" a conversation between leading man Bill Murray and director Coppola, and a music video for the song "" ""City Girl"" by Kevin Shields, formerly of My Bloody Valentine."
