Walking Tall

"Wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne Johnson (better known as The Rock) stars in this remake of the popular action drama about one man's unstoppable quest for justice, which gets a full-bodied release on DVD. Walking Tall has been given a letterboxed transfer to disc in the widescreen aspect ratio of 2.35:1, which has also been enhanced for anamorphic playback on 16 x 9 monitors. The original English-language soundtrack has been mastered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while alternate dubbed tracks in French and Spanish appear in Dolby Digital Surround. The feature includes optional subtitles in English, Spanish, French, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Leading off the disc's special features are two commentary tracks, one with The Rock and the other featuring director Kevin Bray, cinematographer Glen MacPherson, and editor Robert Ivison. Also on this disc is a collection of deleted scenes, a short documentary on staging the movie's stunt sequences, an alternate closing sequence, a chapter of flubs and bloopers, two galleries of still photos, and a handful of trailers."
