"Between 1976 and 1978, three principal stars of The Honeymooners (Jackie Gleason, Audrey Meadows and Art Carney) and one newcomer (Jane Kean, replacing Joyce Randolph as Trixie Norton) teamed up for four hour-long network specials that presented the final adventures of the Kramdens and the Nortons. The fourth of these, a program entitled Jackie Gleason's Honeymooners Christmas, aired in December 1978 and appears in this release. In it, Ralph drums up a get-rich-quick scheme that involves betting his and Alice's life savings, his mother-in-law's social security check, and Ed Norton's holiday bonus on a lottery jackpot."
