A young couple in New York is pushed to the brink after the birth of their first child. Mina (Alba Rohrwacher) becomes isolated from the world and outrageously protective of the baby, while Jude (Adam Driver) tries to cope with his wife's failing mental health. As Mina spirals further into instability, the life of the child is put into jeopardy. Saverio Costanzo directs this psychological thriller.
