In this extravagant romantic comedy, a pair of lovers, contemptuous of their over-familiarity with each other, split up to look for greener pastures. Filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola spared no expense with this film and the production and cinematography are exquisite; unfortunately, the film was a box-office dud and is credited for causing the demise of Coppola's Zoetrope Studios.
