Successful small town race car driver Sam (John Travolta) is a legendary name in the industry. His son Cam (Toby Sebastian) drives on his team, but is starting to lose patience with this familial set up he believes is hindering his chance of glory. After an angry confrontation, Cam leaves his father's team only to be offered the chance to race for Sam's old time nemesis Linsky (Michael Madsen), but will he return to his family in the end?
