Romeo & Juliet [Blu-ray]

The Orchestre De L'Opera National De Paris mounted this stage production of Prokofiev's ballet +Romeo and Juliet in 1995, with Vello Pahn conducting. The narrative itself, of course, follows William Shakespeare's classical tragedy of star-crossed lovers. The principal dancers include Monique Loudieres as Juliet, Manuel Legris as Romeo, Charles Jude as Tybalt and Lionel Delanoe as Mercutio. Ezio Frigerio designed the sets, and co-designed the costumes with Mauro Magano; Alexandre Tarta directs for the stage.
