Great Writers: Tennessee Williams

From Kultur comes Great Writers. Combining archival footage with commentary, the seven-volume series highlights the lives and careers of some of the 20th century's most accomplished wordsmiths. This volume, Great Writers: Tennessee Williams, offers a look at the author of such classic American plays as +Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, +The Glass Menagerie, and +A Streetcar Named Desire. Following Williams' life from adolescence to his death in 1983, the video features performance footage from some of his most acclaimed plays. Released in 2001, the program runs 90 minutes.
