Persepolis: Rediscovering the Lost Capital of the Persian Empire

Architects Wolfgang Gambke and Kourish Afhami use an animation program popular amongst other architects and urban planners in order to virtually reconstruct Persepolis in this documentary that traces their Herculean efforts over several years. As Gamke and Afhami work diligently to produce several thousand outlines, details, and structures, history buffs experience the spender of this ancient city while gaining a greater understanding of the world empire that was exemplary in its administration and organization.
