A Bolshoi Opera Night

In 1988, 11 of the world's best opera singers met at Moscow's prestigious Bolshoi Theatre to perform a benefit concert for the victims of a devastating earthquake that occurred in Armenia that same year. Conductor Mark Ermler leads the Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra as Alfredo Kraus, Irina Arkhipova, Yevgeny Nesterenko, Lucia Aliberti, Carlo Bergonzi, and six others deliver stirring pieces by Verdi, Mussorgsky, Wagner, Rossini, Puccini, and more.
