Charlie (Charles Aznavour) is a former concert pianist playing in a small nightclub. He has left his unfaithful wife and the concert life behind over her affair with his conniving manager. The waitress at the club loves him and knows more about his past than Charlie realizes. Trouble begins when his brother arrives with two gangsters seeking retribution after being double crossed by Charlie. Film is directed by Francois Truffaut.
