The widescreen anamorphic transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1, and is preferable in every way to the standard full-frame transfer. The closed-captioned English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Mono. English and French subtitles are accessible. There are no supplemental materials of any consequence. This is an uninspiring release from Columbia/TriStar. This disc would be improved with the inclusion of some documentary material on Pryor's life and career."
