The Mothman Prophecies

"Richard Gere stars in the chilling The Mothman Prophecies, based on true events. Columbia has done a fine job on this 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen video transfer which features well-saturated black levels and solid color patterns. Except for the slightest amount of edge enhancement, this transfer is very nice and pleasing to the eye. The audio is presented in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround in English and French. There are many instances of directional use on this soundtrack, especially during some of the more eerie scenes and sequences. Overall, the dialogue, effects, and music are crystal clear and free of any excessive distortion. Also included on this disc are English, French, and Spanish subtitles. The extra materials on The Mothman Prophecies are fairly slim -- the only supplements featured on this disc include a music video for the song ""Half Light,"" a theatrical trailer, and some thin production notes."
