Vampires: Los Muertos

"John Carpenter's Vampires continues with the sequel Vampires: Los Muertos. The film is presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen and looks excellent. With solid color reproduction and dark black levels, this transfer features tons of detail and hardly any imperfections (save for a small amount of edge enhancement in one key scene). Overall Columbia has done a very fine job on this film's image. The soundtrack is presented in a thrilling Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround mix in English. With both the front and rear speakers receiving a full and bombastic workout, fans of the film should be very pleased with this exciting track. All aspects of this mix are free and clear of any excessive hiss or distortion. Also included on this disc are subtitles in French, English, Chinese, Thai, and Korean. The extra features on Vampires: Los Muertos include a well-recorded commentary track by director Tommy Lee Wallace (which features tons of information on the production, cast, and special effects) and some bonus trailers for the film and other Columbia horror movies."
