"Carroll Ballard's tale of sailors attempting to win the America's Cup, Wind appears on home video with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo, while English and French subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include theatrical trailers. Considering Carroll Ballard's ability to create stunningly beautiful images, it is a shame the picture quality on this disc is not better, but it is by no means unacceptable."
