Father Christmas

Often packaged with Raymond Briggs' The Snowman, this animated holiday special follows the titular hero just before Christmas, when the gruff old man decides to take a vacation to rest his weary bones after delivering all those presents. Among his holiday spots are Paris and Las Vegas, both of which are subtly parodied. This production was created for British television.
