"As headlined by actress Jada Pinkett Smith, the inspirational medical drama series Hawthorne follows the day-to-day of Nurse Christina Hawthorne (Smith), a young woman employed at Richmond Trinity Hospital, who spends her days fighting the bureaucracy and egotism that surround her to convey love and compassion to the patients in her charge and the rookie nurses under her wing.
