The Reckoning

Michael Marler (Nicol Williamson) is the son of a poverty stricken Irishman who has clawed his way to the top in London by his ruthless ambition. He has little time to enjoy his career success or his marriage to the wealthy Rosemary (Ann Bell). He receives word from Liverpool that his father is near death. He stops to pick up a floozie at a prizefight before seeing his father. Michael discovers his father died from injuries in a barroom brawl. Hew sleeps with his competitor's secretary and gains valuable inside information that lands him a promotion. When he discovers who beat up his father, he takes a tire iron to the thug as he exacts his brutal revenge and settles the score of "Irish justice" in this violent drama.
