After twenty years abroad, Robin Hood returns to England and attempts to renew ties with his beloved Maid Marian, in this elegiac take on the Robin Hood legend. Their short-lived reunion is interrupted by a newly reignited conflict with the nefarious Sheriff of Nottingham, leading to a final life-or-death battle.
