Mozart: Mass in C Minor

In this classical concert performance captured live at the lavish Abbey Church of Waldsassen in April of 1990, legendary conductor Leonard Bernstein conducts the Bavarian Symphony Radio Orchestra and Chorus in performing three 18th Century-era sacred works by famed composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. A performance of the late-era Ave, verum corpus penned for the feast of the Corpus Christi begins the performance, with the 1773 composition Exsultate jubilate and the unfinished Mass in C minor serving to complete the musical trilogy of deeply personal sacred songs.
