Vaclav Kaslik directed this production of Richard Wagner's 1843 opera +Der Fliegende Holl?nder (The Flying Dutchman), mounted live at the Bavarian State Opera. It stars Caterina Ligendza and Donald McIntyre as the principals; The Bayerisches Staatsorchester, under the direction of Wolfgang Sawallisch, provides symphonic accompaniment.
