Clari [2 Discs]

The Opernhaus Zurich mounted this inventive 2008 rendition of Jacques-Fran?ois-Fromental-?lie Hal?vy's 1828 opera Clari, toplined by the luminous soprano Cecilia Bartoli, with symphonic accompaniment by the Orchestra la Scintilla and conducting by maestro Adam Fischer. Patrice Caurier and Moshe Leser created the production itself. The supporting cast features Oliver Widmer, John Osborn, Eve Liebau and many others.
