Almost Almost Famous

In this documentary, three musicians become impersonators of superstars Elvis Presley (Ted Torres Martin), Jerry Lee Lewis (Lance Lipinsky) and Jackie Wilson (Bobby Brooks) as a way to pay the bills and end up finding fame as tribute artists rather than as themselves. As they head on the road on a Class of '59 cross country tour, the trio discusses what life is like as a tribute artist. While some of them are happy to play pretend, others yearn for independent recognition as artists or struggle to keep their act and their real life separate. Directed by Barry Lank.
