"The British fantasy drama series Shades was short lived - it ran for only six episodes in 1999 - but memorable for its unusual conceit. It takes place in London; Dervla Kirwan and Stephen Tompkinson star, respectively, as Maeve Sullivan and Mark Roberts. At the outset, the two meet in London under bizarre circumstances: both are recently deceased. Mark died during a routine operation; Maeve perished in a hit-and-run accident. Now, they wander the Earth as two spirits, unseen by humans but striving to right the wronged. This box set contains all six episodes of the program, full and complete as they originally aired."
