This video is the second volume in a set that presents Mac Rebennack, known to the music world as Dr. John, in a demonstration of piano styles that have come out of New Orleans. The piano master demonstrates techniques, while telling stories about some of the greatest piano players in a city deep in piano players, from Professor Longhair to James Booker. In Dr. John Teaches New Orleans Piano, Vol. 2, Dr. John plays in his own style, as well as that of fellow artists Allen Toussaint, Tuts Washington, and Huey "Piano" Smith.
