Beginning Bluegrass Banjo

"Greg Cahill's banjo-picking skills have earned him Grammy nominations and a reputation as one of the finest musicians playing today. He writes published articles on his craft and has enjoyed touring with groups all over the world. On this second video of a two-tape set, Cahill moves on to more advanced skills. He plays ""Fireball Mail"" in true Earl Scruggs fashion, with both down-the-neck and up-the-neck breaks. He also shows students how to use a single-string style while playing ""Old Joe Clark"" and introduces a melodic style while performing ""Devil's Dream.""
