"Sylvester Stallone's remake of the 1971 Michael Caine actioner arrives on DVD in a fairly solid offering. The picture is presented in a crisp, detailed 2.35:1 widescreen anamorphic format. The sound, a nice Dolby Digital 5.1 transfer, is also commendable. Tyler Bates' Moby-esque reworking of Roy Budd's muscular score is especially chilling here. Director Stephen Kay also provides a solid commentary track. Additionally, there are a host of deleted scenes, including the original ending. As a capper, the DVD includes the lean, mean trailer for the original film. It's worth checking out, if not owning."
