Sweat and Blood Double Feature: Flesh and the Spur/Yellowneck

The Imperial War Museums has a collection of over 30,000 British Government wartime posters and proclamations. In honor of the centenary of the start of the First World War, the best of these from that period, are included here. The posters contain stirring messages exhorting the citizens of Britain to do their bit. As well as representing a unique bit of social history, the posters are also of interest for their graphic style.
