City Park

Three old men and a troubled street-girl form the basis of this heartwarming drama. The men are sitting on a park bench when they first meet the starving young girl. She talks to a hooker who tells her that in jail the food is plentiful and good. The girl tries to get arrested. The cops decide to release her to the custody of the three elderly gentlemen. One of them, an odd colonel, becomes determined to help her. Unfortunately his son disapproves of his father's friendship and cuts off his allowance. The crusty colonel then enlists his two friends to chip in and move them all to a boardinghouse where the young girl can earn food and shelter by caring for them.
