In this full-length treatment of Mark Twain's beloved novel, Jack Pickford is thoroughly convincing as Twain's adolescent schoolboy hero. Most of the familiar episodes from the original novel were presented intact, including Tom's attendance at his own funeral, while other vignettes were invented for the film.
