Bad Blonde

In this British melodrama, the lovely wife of a champion boxer's manager ends up impregnated by her husband's client. She informs the burly father and then begins plotting her husband's demise. Drowning becomes their method of choice. Afterward, the late manager's mother begins to get suspicious and forces the widow to admit that she is not really pregnant. The mother then forces the fighter to admit his guilt causing the vengeful widow to take care of him. The story is loosely based on a true story from 1927.
