The Old Curiosity Shop

A re-telling of Charles Dickens' classic novel. Little Nell lives in London with her grandfather, the owner of a mysterious place called the Old Curiosity Shop. When her gambling grandfather falls into debt to moneylender Quilp (Tom Courtenay), a lecherous dwarf who makes lewd overtures towards Nell, he and Nell flee. As they try to make their fortunes elsewhere, the devious Quilp is never far behind.
