Lucky Day

A made for TV movie, on the surface it is the story of a young, slightly retarded girl who has been cared for by her sister. When the girl wins the lottery, her recovering alcoholic Mother is suddenly on the scene again. Amy Madigan's portrayal of the over-protective sister of the lucky winner is an interesting psychological study.
