This third entry in the bloodthirsty Friday the 13th series differs from its predecessors only in terms of technology. Once more, a seemingly indestructible, hockey-mask-wearing serial killer preys upon sexually promiscuous teenagers. And once more, the killer is disposed of in the final reel...maybe. Richard Brooker takes over from Warrington Gillette in the central role of Jason. Friday the 13th, Part 3 was filmed in 3-D, allowing the audience to experience the nonstop violence "in depth."
