"Orange County, the comedy that refers to itself as ""not just a movie,"" but ""a state of mind,"" arrives on a disc too full of commercials and too light on recognizing the comedic talents of it's impressive cast. It's presented in its original 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen format and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio with English and French language tracks. English subtitles are also included. Special Features are minimal and uninspired. Four judicious cuts can be found in the ""Deleted Scenes"" and director Jake Kasdan and writer Mike White provide a ""Commentary."" Other than that, the only other inclusion is a ""Theatrical Trailer"" and ""15 Interstitials,"" short promos that are somewhat amusing, but too redundant to view all fifteen spots. With an extraordinary cast that includes comedians Jack Black, John Lithgow, Catherine O'HaraChevy Chase and Lily Tomlin, the exclusion of a gag reel is nothing short of criminal. Flat out--Paramount disappoints with this poorly packaged DVD."
