"This not-so-true story is the MTV produced mockumentary of their own show, The Real World. In The Lost Season, the seven strangers are kidnapped and held captive by a rejected Real World applicant. The faux castmembers fufill all of the usual stereotypes. Starring Bryan Kirkwood, Matthew Currie Holmes, Shani Pride, and Julie Patzwald, The Lost Season also features cameos by former Real World castmembers Amaya Brecher, Rachel Campos, and David Edwards, among others.
