It's been thirty years since an alien substance was discovered that allows the near-instantaneous creation of duplicates of mammals, including humans. Something went wrong. Anyone who had used cloned organs or transplants, as well as hundreds of millions of cloned food animals, suddenly and without warning mutated into vicious mutant monsters.

That was ten years ago. Now the world is crawling with mutant creatures and monsters while humanity has spent the prior years hiding further and further underground. Kyle Higgins and Robert Michaelson's Clone Fifteen have decided to leave their shelter and travel to the South, where they hope to find the source of the recent buildup of mutant activity.
