After her father is arrested by the Taliban, an 11-year-old Afghani girl (voice of Saara Chaudry) disguises herself as a boy so she can work outside her home to provide for her mother and siblings. At the same time, she tries to boost her family's morale by telling them a story about a hero in a faraway land. Directed by Nora Twomey (The Secret of Kells), and produced by Angelina Jolie.
