In this drama, independent Ellen Gulden, a Harvard grad, returns home to care for her mother, Kate, who's due for surgery. It soon becomes apparent this probably will be the final Thanksgiving and Christmas with all family members present. However, tensions erupt as long-buried family secrets emerge.
