Blood for Dracula [4K Ultra HD Blu-ray]

Andy Warhol had nothing to with this version of the Bram Stoker vampire chiller -- with the exception of having his name in the title (somewhat like Jane Austin's Mafia). Paul Morrissey is the nominal auteur in this blood-drenched confection, with Udo Kier as the creepy and campy Count Dracula. Dracula is first seen bemoaning the lack of virgin blood in his Romanian homeland (apparently all the women in Romania are loose with their native dresses). Gathering his entourage, he heads out from the strict Roman Catholic nation of Italy, where, he thinks, there are virgins a-plenty. Once there, he takes up residence at the decaying estate of a debauched Italian nobleman, who is eager to marry off his four daughters to the most promising suitors. Unhappily for the Count, several of the nobleman's daughters have already been deflowered by an itinerant Socialist stud (Joe Dallesandro).
