The performances on Beat Beat Beat: The Best of Beat Beat Beat Volume 3 have been transferred to disc in their original full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1, and the image quality is very good, especially considering the vintage of the source materials, with the image sharp and the contrast strong. The audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo, retaining the original mono sound mixes, and while the bands sometimes tax the limitations of television audio technology from the period, the live audio recordings range from good to excellent, and are superior for the period. The songs are performed in English, with no subtitles or multiple language options. No bonus features appear on this disc, and seeing as the nine song play out in less than a half-hour, this release leaves a bit to be desired as value for money, but for fans of classic British beat, these archival broadcasts deliver the goods in admirable quality."
