This pocket book is intended to appeal to all practitioners in Primary Care because of a perceived deficiency of information on spinal disorders stripped of the customary mystique. The vocabulary and the practise of spinal disorders, especially in the management of back pain, remain esoteric subjects for many doctors not specialised in this area. The information is designed to be accessible to the lay public and patients through the avoidance of jargon in the text.
