The Manxman

The last film in Hitchcock's silent-film period, Manxman is a melodramatic soap-opera involving the love of a woman (Anny Ondra) by both a fisherman (Carl Brisson) and a lawyer (Malcolm Keen). First, the lawyer has the upper hand when the fisherman leaves to seek his fortune, but the woman continues to love the fisherman.
